3 Watt DC/DC converters in a compact SIP4 package

RECOM’s new 3 Watt DC/DC converter series, RI3, features a very compact size and ultra-high power density. Despite their small size, these modules can be operated over a very wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C without derating. When derated down to 60% power, the modules can achieve up to +100°C operating temperature.

Fit into a compact SIP4 case (11.5 x 10.2 x 7.6 mm), almost the size of a coffee bean – these converters are ideally suited for applications where space is limited. The converters have an operating efficiency up to 90% and can be operated down to 0% load. The great multitude combinations of input voltages (5, 12, 15, or 24 VDC), output voltages (5, 9, 12, or 15 VDC) and an I/O isolation of 1, 2, or 3 kVDC make these converters perfect for virtually any industrial application.

These modules additionally feature an integrated input filter (in accordance to EN 55022 class A) and do not require additional components. They are IEC/EN/UL-60950-1 certified and come with RECOM’s standard 3 year warranty.
