High efficiency, non-isolated step-down regulators for point-of-load applications like the newly designed R-5xxxP_D series where 1,2V to 5V input types offer 5 different outputs of 1.0 to 5.0V at 2A, 3A or 4A. The R-6xxxP_D series is designed to offer wide input ranges like 9-28V for 3,3V, 5V, 9V and 12V outputs at 1A or 2A. Both series can have their output voltage trimmed via external resistors and only 2 external capacitors are needed. Efficiency of these 2 series is significantly above 90%, some even up to 97% ! These new products offer the ideal solution for distributed power with minimal PCB space requirements. Combining them with RECOM's POWERLINE converters is an option, if higher wattage conversion with an isolation barrier is required. View Data Sheet (PDF-File): R-5xxxP_D R-6xxxP_D
